How to Obtain

Head to town and visit the armorer. The chain mail can be purchased for 498 G. Alternatively, defeat Bloodrose Vanesta to get it.

Notes

While the impact of chain mail's defense raise is more noticeable than leather armor, it still won't lower damage by much. Still, it's worth using for adventures if you're attending fighting classes and have decent combat skill and combat attack.

It's recommended to snag this from Bloodrose Vanesta rather than pay for it at the armorer, especially since that's money you could put into one Adept fighting class or Novice fencing class. Bloodrose Vanesta is not particularly hard to defeat, especially with good combat attack and skill.
