A Bird of Paradise is a character in Princess Maker 2.
If Olive wins the Cooking Contest in the Harvest Festival, she'll receive the Paradise Egg.
If she doesn't eat the egg, it will hatch after a month, releasing a baby Bird of Paradise. The chick explains that even though Birds of Paradise live for a thousand years, humans find their eggs delicious and often steal them, making the species very rare. The chick thanks Olive for not eating the egg before leaving. Olive, amazed and touched that she saved a life that will go on for a thousand years, gains 100 points in Sensitivity for the act.
If Olive does eat the egg, which Cube prepares for her, she will feel sorry for it but say it's delicious anyway, and her constitution will increase 50 points.
